Mexican bar and restaurant. Hard to find under the arches which may explain why it was so quiet. Long, narrow archway interior which looks quite fetching. Some wall mounted tables with stool seating for the drinkers, most of the space is for dining. Got an enthusiastic hello from a lass who was clearly overjoyed to see a customer. Decent selection of Mexican beer (I had a bottle of Cerveza Negra Modelo which was quite cheap at £3.50 and came with obligatory lime wedge to help me fend off scurvy). Cocktails and Mojitos also advertised. The menu offered a good range of Mexican food but prices were steep, pretty much 10 quid or over for everything, they clearly haven't been to Mission Burrito. Frankly, they should push the drink/bar aspect more, they can't be making much money outside of weekends (when live music is advertised, a couple of punters looked in and left when they saw it was quiet); it isn't as if the other pubs I did nearby the same night were empty. Someone also needs to wipe down the sticky laminated drinks menu, yuk. Worth a look-in for the curious.

Windsor only Mexican Restaurant & Cocktail Bar Charley’s Horse serves tasty authentic Mexican food, beers, cocktails & tequilas. Locate under Windsor Royal Shopping Centre in a Railway arch it has a very cool & relaxed feel. Gets busy at weekends and has a nightclub featuring a live DJ. Worth seeking out, if your in the area
