The Slouch Bar is a basement bar with seating across the front with windows that look up to the passing street above. The serving counter runs across the rear wall where standard keg is available alongside a couple of lagers I’ve not heard of, which included Jubel Beer. Opposite the counter are long high tables and booths run up the left-hand wall. To the right is another room with high tables and sofa seating. The service was polite, but the ‘background music’ was far too loud for me, especially for a midweek evening.

The Slouch Bar is one of the many basement located pubs on Bath Street. There is a large drinks choice with 9 beers on draught, 44 Bourbons, 4 Cognacs, 47 Gins, 17 Liquers, 48 Rums. There is a descent A la carte menu for food that is of very good value and a bar bites menu plus there are other menu option to try, check out www.slouch-bar.co.uk/
