The Trehill Arms has a small L-shaped bar area with tile floored seating to the right and a fireplace with burner on the left hand wall. The short serving counter is found on the rear wall where a radio was playing Heart 80s, or some such station. Premium keg was available and one of the three hand pumps was in operation drawing Doom Bar. In the left-hand side of the pub is a dining area with exposed stone walls, this area feels a lot older than the bar area. The governor was polite and I was made to feel welcome, but I got the feeling that more food is served than booze so I don’t plan on returning.
