Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Harrild & Sons
Unusual bar under a high ceiling in the former Fleet Works building and with the rear dining area located partly under a lower extension with a glazed roof. Mostly plain wooden tables laid out in groups around the 'U'-shaped servery branching off the right-hand side. Bare brick walls with little in the way of decor except at the back. Also has a basement cocktail bar. Disappointingly, just on of the four handpumps was in use, dispensing Charnwood Salvation (£4.80, too warm and perhaps sat in the pipes for a while?).

PSM again nails the detail, its an impressive interior and the exterior stone and brickwork is ornate. The four cask handpumps were not operational due to the low post Xmas trade and even half the keg taps were not operating due to chiller problems leaving just half the usual 12 keg options,my Camden Helles Lager was nasty and thin.A Bob Marley soundtrack lifted the spirits as did the attractive barmaids ,so I will pay a visit when it's fully operational to get a better idea of it's worth, hence unrated on this trip.

Not much that I can add to Pub Signman's excellent description below, its a pub that does "modern" well without any pretention to be anything else, the beer was good,Adnams Mosaic(very good),Darkstar Hophead,Bristol Beer Factory Sorrachii plus a real Cider thats name now escapes me.I liked it here.
