An out-of-town dining pub for people who like to pile all the family in the car and eat carvery and gateaux. There are also a couple of hand pumps, one of which had a Rocking Rudolph pump clip turned around, the other had quite a decent Black Sheep Bitter. At £1.65 for a half, this was easily the most expensive beer encountered on my visit to Ecclesfield. Perhaps I should have asked for some roast potatoes, too?
