The landlord here was eager to point out that they were local CAMRA pub of the year when I was checking out the real ales here. All 3 were from Glamorgan - Welsh Pale Ale, Thunderbird & Jemima's Pitchfork. He became even more interested when I mentioned that I was trying to visit as many pubs as possible across the country and with both other customers also involved in the conversation, my note taking was curtailed somewhat!

The main room is one long room with a bar in the centre. The bar itself is quite an impressive wooden structure, whilst the exposed stone walls create a nice, traditional effect. I spotted a fruit machine at the far end and I noted that ciders were Inch's & Old Mout.

Friendly place with a few decent cask ales.
