More of a restaurant than a bar but you can just have a drink if you like. I did and the Brahma was exactly as expected! Not really my cup of tea but I have been in worse!

Interesting almost experimental pub for central Birmingham. There is a modern terazzo floor, plastic canteen seating and then some arm chairs. There is a more formal restaurant area with slidey doors, black woden seating and more arm chairs to the front window overlooking the mainly pedestrian Temple Street hill, but also contains a table football machine & dart board! Led Zepplin was being played in the background.
Strange mix and doesn't quite work. One real ale, Bath Gem, was ok.

Housed on the ground floor of Somerset House, a 30s stone office block. I am not sure of the former use of the room, but it has a revolving door, so it may have been a bank! The interior has a single square-ish room, with a side area that was occupied by a private party, so I didn't really see it. The decor is brown, light blue, with white tile floor and white seating. There is a small island serving bar and the place does food. There was no music and there were a couple of TVs, one a retractable large screen, showing the footy. The place was pretty busy, with the party and a younger, mixed crowd. Beer; usual taps, with a few continental lagers, including Peroni, and a decent enough Wells Bombardier. A better drinks choice than I expected, happy enough to have popped in for one.
