Anchored really doesn't look much from the outside and, internally, it's no great shakes either; this one conforms very much to the original micropub concept. A few high tables around the perimeter of a small room, and a few smaller tables outside for milder climes (or hardier drinkers).

Beers emerge from out back (3 Downlands cask & a single keg on my visit which coincided with the recent Worthing Tap Takeover event).

It's proper friendly though, once you've started to chip in and I definitely warmed to it, but I can imagine it getting uncomfortably crowded when there's more than a drinker's dozen inside.

Not much has changed since the earlier reviews. There are now a few tables and chairs on the pavement outside and a moveable canopy to keep the rain off. A proper cold room has been installed. Only Sussex beers and ciders are served.
