With a huge stadium in your face, this is an ultra-modern conversion with familiar tropes, such as loud, near fluorescent colours and industrial ductwork.
I went for a half of the Castle Rock Our House, which isn’t really my thing, a bit like this pub.
Visited by me and not our crawl, I actually found the City Arms immediately to the rear to be preferable.

Opposite the entrance to the Principality Stadium so beware if its match day ,this red stone building has that industrial chic interior with ceiling ducting and exposed pipework which is now almost a cliche ,with a selection of high tables and metal chairs of various garish colours throught out the L shaped tap room, while opposite the entrance corridor is a more sober seating area.In one corner of the tap room there is a wall mural about the "Very Many Varieties of Beer "which was a feature.
The handpumps were offering Tiny Rebel Cosmic Pale Peach,Cosmic Pale,an IPA clip turned and Cwtch (decent ,NBSS 4) with guests Salopian Lemon Dream and Castle Rock Our House.I didn't really focus on the keg selection ,nor the packed fridges behind the bar.
It's an OK bar for sampling Tiny Rebel output but didn't seem to really showcase the produce from this innovative brewery. Given the paucity of decent real ale outlets in the city centre,it's worth including on any crawl.

Been a fair while so thought I’d squeeze in amongst the late Saturday afternoon throng. Looks like they’ve tidied it up a bit inside, felt less stark and grubby than I recall from previous. Wasn’t able to make out the full ale range so defaulted to Cwtch which was a bit fag-end of the barrel but was clearly a GBG quality brew 30 minutes earlier. Service swift despite the crowds. Card-only payment, boo.

Couldn’t resist a revisit here - eight ales as you enter plus a load of keg, with four cider pumps round to the side – look upwards at the TV screen to see a run-down of what’s on. Tiny Rebel ales plus three from Coltswold Spring and one from XT. My Cwtch was in great form if a little cold. A new item I don’t recall from last year are black and red metal stools, which were bone-numbingly chilly and not great to sit on during a cold dank day. Alongside the shabby chic it means an 7 is the most this place can get in my book – it’s a fairly uncomfortable drinking experience, even if the beer’s great. Rated 7

Tiny Rebel’s brand-new pub, in a fantastic location on the doorstep of the Millennium Stadium. London-hipsterish décor and vibe inside (inevitable given Cardiff’s middle-class urbnanization over the last few years) - exposed brickwork/concrete, general air of uncleaned tattiness. Layout is two ground floor rooms and two hireable upstairs areas. Impressive set of casks (as well as ciders and bottles), featuring Tiny Rebel standards plus some well-sourced guests (my Dark Star Elderflower was very nice) and quality was good across the board (we tried the lot). One downer was that a handpull labelled as containing their Smoked Oak stout was actually poured from keg – the barmaid didn’t do an adequate job of pointing this out and went down in my book as misleading dispense. That aside, this is a really good watering hole for the discerning drinker and the business of it on both our visits (12.30 and 5pm Saturday) is testament to its popularity. Given the less-than-impressive stop at the Goat Major in between I’m tempted to say this is now central Cardiff’s ‘must-do’ pub. Rated 8
