Greenacres has banquette seating areas to both the left and the right of the entrance. The larger left side was lights out early on a recent Thursday evening, but I did pop my head in to see a dartboard and television. The handful of locals in attendance were all watching Champions League football on a television in the right hand side of the entrance. An L shaped bar on the right wall faces this area to the front and the toilets to the left. At the rear is a public bar with a pool table and another dartboard and television. To the side of the bar was an old portable gas fire the likes of which I’ve not seen since the 1980s. One of the four strips was lit, a sign of the times I suppose. I found the barmaid to be friendly, but I didn’t see any handpumps, although I didn’t look very closely at the front section of the bar. I noted the presence of standard keg and Birra Moretti. This pub was comfortable, but there is a ‘publican required’ sign on the front of the pub.

A large, red brick built pub near Greenacres cemetery, hence the name. Two entrances to the pub, one on the main road and a further one at the side. There's a large taproom to the right with a pool table and a dartboard. The lounge to the left is even larger along with a small snug, but it's all one room really. There are two handpumps at the taproom end of the bar serving Sharps Doom Bar and Atlantic on my visit, but the Atlantic alternates with Lees Bitter. My pint of Atlantic was in decent nick. It's a pleasant enough pub.
