A new build getting to the point you can't call it a new build any more, but you know what I mean. Like many Hungry Horses nowadays, it has a separate bar area to keep away from the family diners, although they seem to be much less child-focussed than they used to be and it is generally not unpleasant. Fairly heavy on the sports TV front, including some booths with their own screen, but lots of room to avoid them as well. Like most other GK outlets, the ales were reduced to IPA and Abbot, with a Lilley's fruit cider on pump also. The IPA had seen better days.

New build GK Hungry Horse at the entrance to the strange 1984 meets Brave New World of Farnborough Central estate beyond. To be fair the interior is fairly well done, akin to a living room that Noel TV would have tuned into during the House Party back in the 90s. Unimpressed by the incredibly slow people at the bar ordering in queues, they'd be eaten alive in a suburban Spoons. A faintly unbelievable 8 pumps with GK standards plus a random Wadworth guest. My half of Golden Breeze was serviceable. Unexpected pool table to the rear and a small patio garden full of Farnborough mockneys. I’ve been in worse examples of said chain and the staff were friendly enough.
