The only pub in Girvan to sell real ale. It's a pleasant, if dated lounge bar within the hotel. For some reason the one handpump is usually pulling Boddingtons Bitter which is strange as it's a long way from Manchester. Always a friendly welcome and there's usually plenty of locals in along with the tourist who are staying here.
