The Ridgacre is a Table Table on New Gas Street opposite a Premier Inn that it serves as a dining facility. It’s a very large U shaped pub with a central bar counter that supports standard and premium keg. There are three hand pumps, but only one was in operation drawing Doom Bar. This is very much a dining pub, but there is a small bar seating area at the rear where there’s also a pool table. Local people travel here for value food and unadventurous hotel guests drink here. Not on the revisit list.

A modern Table Table chain eatery attached to a Premier Inn. It is a modern, sprawling, dull brick barn, with a beer garden area, next to the canal. The interior, is of course, equally dull - being in the mixed colour scheme of white, green, brown and wood, with a mixed flooring. The usual irritating modern art destroys the bare walls and the pointless sculpture does the same to the wood shelves. Foody tables are of course the point, so are everywhere - there is no bar area that i could see; mind you, to be fair, i ciouldn't be bothered to look - i gave up when i saw the twigs. I saw no TV and there was no music. The service was friendly and the place pretty busy with a dining clientele. Beer; usual tap stuff with Doombar and Marston's EPA on handpull - the EPA being as dull as the place. A place for those that enjoy days out at the supermarket.
