Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Slug & Lettuce

Utterly routine chain bar / restaurant, with a mix of semi-modern furniture and decor in the 'L'-shaped interior. With nothing of interest on the drinks front, I went for the Amstel purely because that meant the combined total for my drink and a burger was £2.99 less than the food alone would have cost - that's economics for you!
