First visit to this branch, had visited their branch on West End Lane just before Xmas last year. Vibrant corner venue with a bar in the far corner from the door. Seating via an array of standard tables and chairs plus a cosy area behind the bar with a beaten up sofa and some leather armchairs. There are a couple of raised areas just inside the door with some glass screens. A back room beyond the bar had a closed sign but no obvious reason for it being closed other than the staff wanting to coral the punters into the front area to make the venue look busy.

No cask, but a reasonable selection of craft beers, including their own Alice House lager (not that I would call that a craft beer). A couple of beers from Two Tribes, namely Dream pale ale and Campfire hazy IPA. Others were Devon Mist hazy cider from Sandford, TINT from Hammerton, Fomo pale from Walthamstow brewery Wild Card, Keller Pils from Lost and Grounded and something called “I Could get Better at T*sco for a quid” a session IPA from the Pretty Decent Beer Co.

This place was less manic than I recall than their other venue (but then again I was there the week before Xmas). Indeed it is a very pleasant place to go and select from a decent craft offering and so above average from that perspective.

Fairly large corner pub that has no real ale. But it does have a decent selection of craft beers and cider. Harviestoun Alice Lager, Wild Beer Bibble & Partizan Porter were on. The cider was Sandford Orchards Devon Mist.

I'd booked a table as requested, but I received a ticking off for arriving 10 minutes late. They'd almost given our table away, which wouldn't have been a problem considering there were plenty spare. We were only stopping for a quick pint. But they'd blocked the table for 6 hours, which clearly demonstrates that the system can never work.

All urinals were blocked off in the gents. Another practice that I find odd. This was despite signs stating that only 1 person could enter at a time. Surely using the urinals is no more of a health hazard than using a cubicle, if you're the only person in the toilet?

I did quite like the atmosphere of this place though. So, I wouldn't rule out a future visit if in the Queen's Park area.

The Alice House is a corner pub that is painted in the trendy London battleship grey colour.
Once inside there is a single decent sized room, the bar is on the left side, there were mid sized tables and stools near the bar and chunky wood tables and chairs elsewhere, there was a small raised area to the front right, plus a seperate area down a few steps to the rear.
There were no pumps on the bar,but there were those very tall fonts which had craft crap beers flowing from them,i had a drink of London Fields Hackney Hopster which was expensive and looked like a light coloured sludge,it tasted slightly better than it looked, there were five other craft keg beers on,i noted Camden Hells Lager and Camden Ink.
The pub was almost empty on my Thusrsday dinner visit.
There was some very good background music playing during my visit, with one track by Pink Floyd which you dont usually hear in pubs.
This is a decent enough modern pub, that could have done with one token real ale on.
