This is essentially a hotel of course, but its smallish bar is open to non-residents. It’s furnished with a mix of tall tables and tall stools and more standard furnishings. The most dominant feature was the bright red mats on all the tables bearing the motto “whatever you do, take Pride” on them.The only bitter available was therefore the keg version of London Pride.
I didn’t plan to go all the way to Cornwall just to drink keg London pride, but this bar’s main advantage is the fact that it is handily placed about halfway between Carlyon Bay and Charlestown along the clifftop walk. And it has a few tables and chairs outside at the front with with spectacular sea views.
