Tucked away just off the main drag the Jeanie Deans Tryste is a smallish one roomed locals pub with a friendly host.Called in around 2pm on a Wednesday and although no cask available did enjoy my brief chat with the landlord about pubs, and would liked to have stopped longer but had not much time to make my way back to Waverley station.
