The Sandygate Hotel is a pretty smart establishment that is a short walk from the middle of Wath.
Once inside there was a large corridor which had a bar in it,there was a large oblong shaped room to the fron right which was empty but set up for a 18th birthday party,there was a large smart looking dining area to the rear,i had a drink in the corridor area and i was the only person in the pub apart from the bar person.
There were two unclipped pumps on the bar,this left me with the choice of John Smiths smooth crap which it was.
Not really my cup of tea,but if you want somewhere to have a party or stay the night this is probably the only place in Wath to do it.
