Requested be closed with reason - Other: Garisg purple paint job seems to signify this is no longer a conventional pub; absence of an inn sign suggests it's definitely not a pub at all.

A very scruffy pub, which seems not to have been decorated for at least a quarter of a century, and the smell of stale cigarette smoke still lingers 12 years after the ban. The absence of any pictures (there are two mirrors) makes the crookedness of the wallpaper noticeable. There were three or four locals in at the time of my visit, but I don't remember much in the way of conversation going on. I do remember there was no real ale - I had a half of Guinness, which was ok.
