Another change of name - now known as JunkYard. But the sign outside is JNK YRD, which is the official name.

This was formerly known as Hardie’s Wine Bar, although it was really just an up-market pub which sold beer too. The new name relies on a series of plays on words, such as Time 2 Drink, Time 2 Eat and Time 2 Entertain You. Needless to say, therefore, food is available and the conservatory style extension overlooking the main road was set for dining, although nobody objected to me sitting there with just a drink. My pint of Staropramen cost £3.60 and Tennent’s lager, Caledonia Best, Guinness and Golden Promise cider are also on draught. Wine and coffee are available too. The interior has the slightly eccentric look of a small shop conversion (which I think it once was if I remember correctly), with exposed wooden beams and skylight windows. Nice enough, but it has come down in the world a bit since it was the Wine Bar.
