The Chestnut Tree is a large pub that was built around the late 30s in the mock tudor style.
The pub is situated in the fairly pleasant suburban area of peartree.
Once inside the pub had a few different rooms with a large bar and a very comfortable lounge.
The pub used to be an Ind Coope tied house with a range of their keg beers on the bar, which was a shame in a nice pub like this.
The pub now does food all day but i am not sure if any real ales are stocked.
