Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Anthologist

Large 'L'-shaped bar with anonymous modern furniture and decor and music at more than background level. Various seating areas, many booked for groups, with a mostly empty dining area at one end. However, there is often some patio seating put out at the front for the warmer times of the year. Three pairs of handpumps, with the regular Pride and Woodforde's Wherry (£4.50, and indifferent) available. Only went back to see whether it had improved since my first visit about 18 months ago. It hadn't.
