Further to the below review I would concur with all but the well kept beer as I don't drink real ale, although there was a wide selection and surely taking pump clips off due to selling out is a good sign.
However after a visit tonight I found the 3 bar staff seemingly busy while actually achieving little in the serving stakes. To top it off while serving me, eventually, the person stopped after the first pint to serve a local then continue with the second drink I'd ordered. Thankfully they took my money first so the delay was reduced.
In all the pub is nice the a central bar area with seating in the front with L shape seating to the left hand side leading into a garden area. After sending my friend to locate a seat we ended up in what I would consider the Board Room as it was a partitioned area(by-fold doors)obviously open due to being busy which does lead you to feel removed from the atmosphere of the pub however it was a decision made by others so not a negative against the pub in all honesty.
I would visit again however maybe not on a Friday night when your face seems to be the factor of how the bar staff make the who's next decision.

Excellent refurbishment of The former Victoria Inn, now The Old Badger Inn. Good food, and well kept beer. Well worth a visit.
