Folk is a small L-shaped bar with a counter along the rear wall that supports premium and craft keg. Like all the venues in the area, the outside seating was all taken during my early midweek sunny evening visit, but there was plenty of room inside. The service was polite and my half of Northern Monk’s Eternal went down well. There was some background music playing, but I throughout this place was a bit basic. Card only.

A trendy bar with trendy prices to boot. After being charged £2.40 for a half of some real cider at 3.8% you'll be saying more than "FOLK!". There are 3 handpumps on the bar with one being used for overpriced cider. Craft ales also available but unless its Richard Brandon's round I'd folk off somewhere else if I were you.
