A multi roomed locals local. Its on the basic side decor wise and could do with a spruce up. That said it was surprisingly a decent visit. A few local characters having a laugh made it a pleasant stop. However, unless I lived by it I doubt I'll be back. One handpump on the bar served Courage Bitter. I'm not sure why, so far on this site, Bootle isn't classed as being in Liverpool. Especially as you have to go through Bootle to get to some of the other places that are.
