David Ross left this review about Mavrix
Smaller and marginally more expensive than its sister establishment of the same name in nearby Bellshill, this is nevertheless very similar in style. Like the other Mavrix, it has low level lighting, music DVDs playing, several games machines and even the same small sport related murals on the walls. Caledonia Best costs £3.00 a pint and Guinness, Blackthorn cider and Tennent's and Stella Artois lagers are also on draught. The toilets are inconveniently located in the basement, but it is at least handy for Hamilton Central railway station and the bus station.
