Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Xylo

Micro-brewery and tap in part of the former Imperial Hotel, with the front of the L-shaped bar facing the harbour and the rear (with three brewing vessels) connecting with the High Street. Limited modern furniture and sparse decoration give this place a Scandinavian feel. Ten craft keg taps on a hooped fount, with three of its own beers - Supernova lager, Get in Lane pale and the single-hop Sabro (£6.00) - plus seven guests.

Brewpub. Small and high-ceilinged L shaped interior with an entrance from the seafront and also via the seedy street behind, past the brew kit. Minimalist décor with white and black colours though at least done to a decent spec. There’s a small mezzanine level with view across either bar or seafront, depending on your pick. Four of their brews along with seven guests via craftykeg dispense. When in Rome and all that meant that I plumped for their Supernova lager which was fine though £5.80 seemed a bit steep. It’s fair enough for what it is, you’ll probably want to have a look for the novelty value if you’re crawling the town. 6.5
