The Social is situated in a well pubbed area of Bristol.
Once inside there is a decent sized room with the bar to the mid left, there is wood bench seating to the front left with table and chairs to the front right, the room is bare boarded and it extends further back on the right side.
There was one real ale on which was Butcombe Rare Breed, this drink went down well.
Background music was playing and the pub was almost empty early Saturday dinner visit.
I quite liked this place as it seemed pretty laid back on my early visit.

A relatively recent opening in the up and coming Stokes Croft area, this appears to be modelled on the successful Loungers chain and consists of a good sized, single room bar that is open all day and no doubt caters for different clientele at different times. On a recent Friday evening visit, the place was quite busy and had a lively, buzzy atmosphere.
There are large, full height windows covering the front of the pub and behind here is an area filled with Chesterfield sofa’s and low wooden tables. Dark wood strip covers the floor, whilst there is some exposed brickwork on the walls and brown plasterwork elsewhere. There were a number of bookcases around and shelving unit filled with various leaflets and flyers and there was a selection of modern artwork on the walls, some of it for sale.
We didn’t eat on this occasion, but the menu was divided in to different options depending on the time of day and included Breakfast (served until 5:00pm, which no doubt suits the local populace), lunch and dinner. A blackboard next to the bar showcased a number of tea, coffee and chocolate choices. Beers on tap all appeared to be keg rather than cask and consisted of just Butcombe Blond and Adam Henson’s rare Breed. Cider’s were Ashrdige Devon Gold and Ashton Press.
