The Peverel was a fairly large early 70s built pub that was on the st anns estate.
Once inside the pub had a very large bar and a smaller lounge,the lounge was comfy and the bar was more brash and basic,on the few occasions i have been in this pub i have always had a drink in the bar.
The pub was a Shipstones tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,both Shipstones bitter and mild were very nice drinks here.
In my opinion this was one of the better st anns pubs to have a drink in.
Sadly this pub has now closed down and is boarded up awaiting its fate.
