As noted below this is larger than usual for a micropub but the size of a venue has never been a micropub guideline. This one had a music track playing, has the bank of non-mainstream keg
offerings and also sells Port & Sherry all of which transgress the usual guidelines. It also does a bit more elaborate food than most micropubs and there is a small patio at the rear. Oddly two of the tables were reserved which is something you don't expect to see in a micropub. On the left there was a dart board and a piano.
There were four beers available from Mad cat, Empire, G2 Crux and Grafton Priors Well. I went for the Grafton beer (£3.40) which was in good condition.
I found this place to be more like a small trendy bar and didn't really take to it. It's GBG 2017 listed.

Too big, really, to be called a micro-pub, so alehouse is probably is the right term here. Basic - although slightly incongruously semi-modern - furniture, bare boards, limited decor, but plenty of light due to the large windows. Four real ales on gravity from a cool store behind the bar, with Red Top and Best of British from Old Dairy plus Skylarking and the Dance First stout (£3.30) from Pig & Porter on offer. Also has some interesting craft beers from eight keg taps on a hooped fount on the counter.
