Keko Moku spent some time as a bar called Convenience Store before becoming DogTown, which had a decent crowd in on a recent Tuesday evening. This small tile floor bar has a stool lined serving counter up the left that faces high tables up the right. More high tables are found in the rear. The décor is busy with a polaroid wall, skateboards, surfboards and neon lighting as well as some industrial type lamps that hang on long cords above the counter. Premium and craft keg were available alongside a decent pint of Guinness that was served by a very friendly barmaid. This isn’t the sort of place I’d normally go, but I liked the vibe and felt welcomed so, as long as it isn’t rammed, I would pop back in if passing.

Small cocktail bar in the heart of the Northern Quarter. Simply furnished in a tropical island style it can get rammed later in the evening at weekends. There's no draught beer and the emphasis is totally on short drinks. I've been dragged in here twice recently for a Margarita. Luckily I've never had to pay as the prices are pretty steep. It has its place, but it's not for me.
