A couple of steps lead up from the pavement to picnic tables on a paved seating area the runs along the front of the pub. Over to the right is a covered smoking area with a large banner attached that advertises Sky Sports. An L shaped bar is located to the left of the entrance and I noted some disco equipment set up on the left hand wall. To the right is some seating and further right is a pool table. Televisions are located throughout. There was no real ale during my recent Monday evening visit, just standard keg alongside Amstel. Cash only.

The Kings Head Hotel is a really nice looking white painted pub that has got quite a long frontage,the pub is situated towards the bottom end of barton lane.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms that i noticed,there was a smart looking lounge and a decent bar which is the room i had a drink in.
When i went in this pub it was a Boddingtons tied house and there was one real ale on the bar,this was Boddingtons bitter which was a decent enough drink.
I quite liked this pub.
