Blue Scrumpy left this review about Terrace
Terrace is a fairly modern craft beer bar in the middle of the Northern Quarter. My notes say that I was last here 6 years ago, but it's not one I particularly recall.
Featuring bare brick walls, it is a long, narrow space and with few customers late on Boxing Day afternoon, bar staff were speculating as to whether it might get busier later. Judging by the lack of people wandering around the Northern Quarter, it didn't seem likely.
It feels quite dark and moody inside. However, I could imagine that this would make for a nice atmosphere when the bar is busier. There are also some tables in the road to the front, which I'm sure are much in demand during the warmer months.
There are 3 handpulls scattered along the length of the bar, which can be found on the left-hand wall as you enter. 1 cask ale was on - Track Sonoma. A second handpull was clipped with Lilley's Winter Fruits, with a third handpull having a reversed clip. Craft beers seem to be more popular. These included Shindigger Session IPA, Sourdough Kvass & Runaway NZ Pale, Anspach & Hobday London Black, Cloudwater Ocean Beach & Pomona Island Factotum.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Terrace
The staff in here were more welcoming than the Bay Horse, a couple of pubs before. I especially liked the choice of music on our visit, so this was an upbeat visit.
This was a warm evening so there was quite a lot of drinkers sitting out front on the street.
The one thing I did notice was that the gaps between the old reclaimed floorboards had been braced with brass strips to fill in the gaps.
Two cask ales on handpump serving Track Brewery Sonoma and Vocation Bread and Butter. I went for the Sonoma at £4.90 a pint. This pub also had a very comprehensive range of Belgium beers.

Strongers . left this review about Terrace
The Terrace has an L-shaped bar on the right wall that faces a beer shelf with stools along the front window and tables up the right. The exposed brick walls run into the rear which opens up to reveal booth seating up the left and a raised area in right rear with a mix of high and standard tables. This place is called the Terrace so I thought I should haul my fat arse up the stairs to have a look at the large decked terrace with different seating areas and another bar that has limited premium keg. I was surprised to see this space in Manchester where it’s always bloody raining,
Back in the main downstairs bar there are six hand pumps, but five were unused which left Vocation’s Bread & Butter as the lone cask choice. There is a larger premium keg range than upstairs. I found the service to be very friendly, but this is the sort of place I would have enjoyed twenty years ago so I don’t plan a revisit.
