tried to call in this bar only to find it shut on a friday night what a pity as the beer was very good lasttime hope its only temporary

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Montys Real Ale Bar
Existing café with a new bar area added at the back. Basic decor. Friendly and knowledgeable owner. Had only been open for seven weeks when I visited, with various opening hours being trialled. Four handpumps, with a good choice of local beers: Old Spot Inn-Spired (£2.90) and Spot o' Bother, Ilkley Mary Jane and Great Yorkshire Pale. Overall, a useful addition to the Bradford real ale scene.
