The Shakespear was a fairly decent looking estate pub that was situated close to the tower blocks on the haughton green estate.
Once inside i went into a fairly nice room that was carpeted and had comfortable bench seating.
The pub was a Wilsons tied house and there was one real ale on the bar which was Wilsons bitter,this was a decent enough drink.
I thought this was a fairly nice pub to have a drink in.
Sadly this pub has now been pulled down and there are now ugly looking flats on its site.
