The Bag is the main Nottingham Uni student pub, staffed by students and frequented almost exclusively by students. It knows its audience and caters to them well. Not one for the locals though, really.

The Bag O' Nails is situated in the shopping area of lenton boulevard and is fairly close to lenton flats.
This pub opened about 7 years ago and i have just got round to doing it.
The pub is on a corner and once through the corner entrance there is one largish room, this room has got modern bare boards and high backed leather chairs and tables, there was a pool table to the left and three TVs above the bar which were showing snooker.
There are no real ales on here and the keg option was John Smiths extra smooth cold crap and this was a pretty crap drink.
There were a few older locals in on my mid afternoon visit, but i think this pub is more geared up for students who live in this area in their thousands.
This in not my sort of pub and i wont be coming back here again.
