Blend, Cleethorpes

This was alleged to have become a coffee shop but spotting some Cruzcampo banners I gave it a try. It is now a slightly upmarket (for Cleethorpes) café/bar with a relaxed feel, largely due to its spacious furnishings and laid-back music. It has a stripped pine floor, industrial pipework tables, a few sofas and odd bits of arty decor. The bar features a small wall of keg taps including Salt Alpacalypse (apparently substituting for Neck Oil) at an eye-watering £4.10 for a half, although it transpired a pint was £5.50. There was also a Theakston's Pale at a similar £3.10/£4.50 - how can they justify the high price of a half, especially as you can get a beer + food offering at just £3 for the pint? Anyway, I've been here so you don't have to.
