Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Hall Inn
Food-led pub in the hamlet of Gwehelog on the main road between Raglan and Usk. The car park was surprisingly busy when we arrived. In fact, pretty much all of the tables inside were taken by diners enjoying Sunday lunches. There is a bar area to the right-hand side as you enter, with the main dining area to the left. It's a fairly simple, yet cosy interior.
2 real ales are stocked. Butty Bach is a regular. Cwrw Gorslas was the guest. There were no real ciders as such, but there were a couple of interesting keg ciders.
With the inside being so packed, we decided to sit outside on one of the picnic benches near the front door. As we drove off, we did notice that there is a further outdoor garden to the rear, complete with chickens and possibly goats.
