The Wheatsheaf was a fairly big pub that was situated close to the bus station on the busy manchester road.
Once inside the pub had two decent sized rooms i had a drink in the lounge which wwas fairly smart and also comfortable.
The pub was a Whitbread tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Bentleys bitter which was a decent enough drink the other beer was Boddingtons bitter.
I think this pub has been pulled down to make way for a car park for the large retail park that is now in this part of Hyde.
