Cafe Bar Contempary is a new bar that is part of the Nottingham contempary gallery.
The pub is accessed by going down some steps off high pavement next to the main entrance to the gallery.
Once inside the pub had one very large square room which was very bland in my opinion but the other customers who had probably been in the gallery might have liked this modern look,the floor was bare boarded and there were lots of small tables and chairs which were painted black,there were a few more comfortable chairs to the right which is where i sat,there is a small bar which is in the far right corner,there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Castle Rock Harvest Pale which was drinkable but not at its best,the other beer was Castle Rock Screech Owl.
There was no music making the place seem far to quiet the only noise was of trams going by.
This is'nt my sort of place to have a drink but at least there were real ales on here.

The bar is closed on Mondays the other opening times are
Sun & Tues 10am-7pm
Wed-Fri 10am-9pm
Sat 10am-11am
