The Kettledrum was a distinctive looking pub as it was round and it was also unusuall with the drinking area being upstairs and the living accomodation downstairs.
The pub was situated next to a traffic island just off the main pendleton precinct.
Once inside the pub was fairly smart but it did have a bit of a rough edge to it,the pub was a Bass tied house and there were no real ales on the bar i had a drink of keg Bass Special which was a very poor drink.
I quite like doing pubs like this and i am now glad i did as this pub has now been pulled down like many other pubs in this area of Salford.
