Given a major makeover and is now a very smart Miller & Carter. Called in for a look around, there's a definite bar area and you can just have a drink which was confirmed by a member of atsff.

I hate the taste and smell of carveries and chain pubs just bore me, so you can guess my opinion of Toby Carvery. but this one seems okay. it has a decent local trade due to the lack of other pubs nearby. beer options are Doom Bar x 3 and keg fizz. I imagine it's awful at tea time but I was happy enough drinking with the oldies late in the morning.

A good Toby this one and have visited here quite a few times. I tend to get here early on a Sunday as the pub does get very busy. The Staff are very friendly and chatty, the same manager has been here for years. Usually have a pint of Wainwright to wash down a good roast dinner.
