Alan Winfield left this review about Cheetwood Hotel
The Cheetwood Hotel was a large old stand alone pub that was situated in the back streets of Cheetham Hill with clothing factorys all around it.
The pub had an ornate tower on the corner and looked quite nice in general.
Once inside the pub was fairly basic with a couple of rooms that i noticed,i had a drink in the bar which was basic but still a decent enough room.
The pub was a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
I was quite happy having a drink in this pub.
Sadly this pub has been pulled down and its site is now being used as a car park for one of the local factorys.
What a waste of a decent old pub.
