A very old thatched coaching inn which has been completely overwhelmed by a country club and hotel. However it retains a separate "Public Bar", which is not what it sounds like but a rather plush bar. It does feature Doom Bar and a Country Life ale however. A little pricey but pleasant, if lacking in character. Use lower car park, by bridge.
