The Sabre was an ugly looking 70s built pub that was hidden away in the ordsall estate.
Once inside the pub had two rooms with a decent bar and a smarter lounge,we had a drink in the bar which was quite busy mid saturday afternoon.
The Sabre was a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar we had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
This was definatly a locals pub and it did have a bit of a rough edge to it,but we were happy enough having a drink in here.
Sadly this pub has now closed down leaving only one pub left on the ordsall estate.
