Cask here was Rev James, Pedigree and Courage Directors. Keg offering of Thatchers Gold, Moretti, Carlsberg, John Smiths, Carling, Stella, original SB, Estrella, Guinness, San Miguel.

Marstons pub. Venue divides into left and right halves near the front entrance. The bar counter is on a tile skirt on the right-hand side, carpeted otherwise with a bare boarded section in the front right-hand corner. Regular tables and chairs in this area plus then some high booth tables opposite the bar counter. Regular tables and chairs the other side of the bar counter. There is a rear area also with its own bar counter serving the same beers as in the front bar. Plenty of regular tables and chairs and some banquettes and a part of the rear turned over to a darting area. A good amount of picnic bench seating around the perimeter of the venue, partly paved, partly grassed. The manager was a nice chap, and I appreciated I noted that one table in the corner was reserved for a Mr C Basie – turns out it happens most days to coincide with the same of next day birthday of a famous person – a couple of days prior the same table was reserved for Mr G Khan (although there is some discussion as to how accurate the birthday was)!
