David Ross left this review about Tavern Cafe Bar
Despite the "Tavern" in its name, this is more like a restaurant than a pub, although you can just go in for a drink. It's relatively expensive for the town, with a pint of Carlsberg lager costing £3.50. San Miguel, Somersby cider and Belhaven Best are also on draught. Perhaps because of its Mediterranean ambience, there were more foreign customers here than locals and while it's appealing in its way, it's not like a traditional British pub.
