A terribly shabby, smelly lounge bar in a former shop premises. No real ale, a very poor choice of keg, unwelcoming staff and nothing really to say for it other than that it’s open. Probably fine if all you want is to consume a cup of cold tea and a stale cake while being screamed at by feral children, but really not my kind of place

Grounded is situated at the top end of Church Road in the Redfield area of Bristol.
Once inside there is a smallish oblong shaped room which runs to the rear,the floor is bare boarded,the rear area is up one step,the bar is on the left side,the seating two settees to the front and normal tables and chairs elsewhere.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Budweiser Budvar,which was a decent enough drink to have pre 11am on a Saturday.
The pub was quite busy with people having decent looking breakfasts.
The background music was loud which might not suit some people.
I quite like the vibe in these type of bars.
This is the only bar on Church Road so there may be more to come.
