David Ross left this review about The Old Mill Hotel

A very attractively situated hotel, in a genuine old mill building beside the South Calder Water on the edge of the town. Some of the mill machinery is still visible below the restaurant. The bar itself has been recently modernised but, weather permitting, there is a much more appealing outdoor seating area beside the river.
