Sometime in the last nine years Darli Lounge has morphed into Cromwells. There is a pool table either side of the entrance and on the left wall is a large projector screen in between two dartboards. On the right wall is a booth for DJs at the weekend and high tables run down the centre of the pub to a bar on the rear wall that supports standard and premium keg. In addition to the projector screen, televisions are located throughout for airing live football. During my visit on Tuesday evening last week this place was busy with a twenty something crowd watching Champions League football.
As sports and music venues go I thought this place was actually OK, but I doubt that would still be my opinion if I found myself in here on a Friday or Saturday night.

I attempted to visit the Darli Lounge on Saturday last week at 22:00, but one of the four bouncers in the doorway informed me that there was a £3 entrance fee. I’m not sure if there is always an entrance fee, but I would be surprised if there is.
